Department of Scientific and Analytical Work in Dermatology and Venereology
The department makes plans of perspective and current research work with a maximum compatibility with other units and institutions; provides methodological assistance, consultations to health authorities and institutions according to the profile of the department; organizes the implementation of the Institute scientific works results in healthcare practice, as well as conducting conferences, congresses, seminars for scientists, dermatologists and infertility specialists. The department provides search studies necessary for future planning of scientific topics that will be carried out. It also organizes study of the incidence of widespread skin and infectious dermatoses and sexually transmitted diseases in the country as a whole and in regions of Ukraine. The department summarizes and analyzes results of scientific research conducted in Ukraine on a wide range of dermatovenereological pathologies. It makes proposals on topical issues to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
The scientific topics of the department in recent years are devoted to issues of development of state unified standards of medical care to patients with skin and venereal diseases, epidemiology of sexually transmitted diseases, diseases of allergic origin, study of the influence of environmental and social factors on the development of allergic dermatoses, morbidity prediction in different regions of Ukraine .
