Laboratory of Biochemistry
The main area of activity of the laboratory is clinical and biochemical examination of patients in hospitals and clinics of the Institute. The laboratory studies the pathogenesis of such widespread chronic dermatoses as psoriasis, allergic dermatitis, acne disease; molecular membrane mechanisms of the development of sexually transmitted infections, including chronic (persistent) forms of urogenital chlamydia; structural and functional state of plasma membranes of peripheral blood cells at different pathologies.
Laboratory of Biochemistry has been certified to perform more than 50 clinical and biochemical research methods. These methods allow to assess the functional state of the liver, kidneys, pancreas, the state of connective tissue metabolism, mineral metabolism, and the activity of free radical processes.
